5. You can apply a nonprescription steroid lotion or cream, apart from anti-itching lotion. The cream should be applied as frequently as possible. Make sure that you are not skipping any days unless the rashes are gone.

6. Diphenhydramine may be taken in a pill form for easing the itching condition. Now, this medication, might make you sleepy.

7. Clean the affected area with hypoallergenic soap each day. Always, apply a lubricating cream or lotion to the affected areas after washing.

8. Also, make sure that you stay away from physical, as well as mental stress. By eating correctly and proper sleep you would stay healthy. This would be helpful in prevention of flares.

As it is, eczema is a relatively common problem and is quite common these days. You might not be available with a permanent solution to this problem, but you can definitely suppress the irritation and discomfort.
