A rise in the metabolism rate of the body helps in increasing the rate at which the body burns fat, while at a restive state. This means that the body would burn more fat, even while you are doing nothing.

3. You should also keep track of what you eat. Even though carbohydrate is an essential element for our body, yet excess of carbohydrate would readily dampen your dreams for getting a flat belly. As it is, everyday we consume a lot of carbohydrate rich foods. Some of it is converted into energy and used up for the performance of various functions of the body. The rest of the carbohydrate, which is left unused, is stored in the form of body fat, which gets accumulated around the belly area.

4. Exercise is a major factor in getting a flat and sexy belly. Make sure that you do not rely only on abs crunch exercises, but focus your attention on aerobic exercise as well. So, sprinting, skipping, swimming and cycling would help you to get your tummy in shape.
